Newcomer Program
In Arizona real estate agents can write contracts and handle real estate transactions without any involvement by a lawyer. With what is often a family's largest single investment I believe it makes little sense not to have a lawyer review the purchase and sale documents, the title report and any other agreements between buyer and seller. Many a lawsuit has involved a residential purchase and sale transaction, and plenty of those could have been avoided with a small expenditure of money for legal services before the contract was signed.
I offer a special program for buyers of residential real estate. For a flat fee of $1000 I will represent you when you buy a home in Tucson. My services will include a review of your offer (before you deliver it to the seller), help with any counteroffer, assistance in making sure your offer reflects your desires, a review of your title and escrow documents and help with any closing issues that might arise.
Note:
This offer applies to residential purchases intended for occupancy by the purchaser. It also only applies to transactions where real estate agents are involved on behalf of buyer and seller. My regular hourly rate applies to purchases for investment purposes, and to situations in which at least one party is not working with a real estate agent.
The fixed rate offer does not include any litigation services. Further, I reserve the right to terminate my agreement to provide legal services if the transaction becomes unduly complicated AND you are unwilling to pay for required additional services at my normal hourly rate. In no event, however, will additional charges apply until after we have discussed the need to charge additional fees.
