What Do Clients Want and Need from a Lawyer? Welcome! I'm a lawyer in Tucson, Arizona. I've been practicing law for 28 years, so I think I know a little bit about what clients want and need when they decide to hire a lawyer
You want a successful outcome, whether you are buying or selling, suing or being sued, starting a business or writing a will. You want value. You don't want aggravation. Finally, you need a lawyer's judgment and skill.
Good lawyers do not promise a particular outcome in most situations and never in connection with litigation. I don't! That said, more often than not good lawyers achieve their clients' objectives. I do!
Everyone worries about fees. Even wealthy people! Legal services cost a lot of money. The real issue, though, is value. Do you benefit from the expenditure? I do my best to always stay focused on that issue, even when?in the heat of battle?it is easy to forget that money matters!
I also focus on the "aggravation factor." Deadlines get met, phone calls get returned and you get straight answers. No matter how difficult the situation may be, I try to make dealing with me and the legal system as pleasant as possible.
Ultimately, you need judgment and skill from a lawyer. You do not need an "order taker" and if you want an "order taker" I am not right for you. From me you will get my best judgment and my best efforts on your behalf. No more, but no less!
